Important Reminder ~ The LMPA of 1993 requires that each California Licensed Midwife notify the Medical Board of California within 30 days of any change of address.  More than 20 LMs have moved and not notified the MBC of their new address. This is technically a violation of the LMPA.  PLEASE write or call the MBC to update your address. The Calfornia College of Midwives depends on an accurate and updated list of LMs for its mailing list.  If you have not been receiving newsletters from the California College or the MBC "Action Report", then your address is not current. You may call 916 / 263-2417 to leave your new address
